Your Favorite Color Combo Challenge!

Totally Stampalicious has a new challenge this week. The theme is "Your favorite color combo". My favorite color combo is yellow and pink...this week. I find it changes quite often.

I embossed the yellow card stock with Sizzix Flower Rings. I used Spellbinders Lacey Circles to cut the pink cardstock. I looked through my Bugaboo Digi's and chose Stella, I love Stella! I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers. I added Glossy Accents from Ranger to Stella's glasses and the beach ball to make them shiny. I added Stickles by Ranger to the water and the flower. I made the flower using Spellbinder Carnation Creation.
Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful day!

There is a new challenge at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog. It is a photo challenge using the photo below for inspiration.

This picture reminded me that my grandchildren will be returning to school soon, so I decided to make a 1st day of school card. When looking through my Bugaboo Digi Stamps I thought Ava and Sean were perfect for my card.

All the card stock and ribbon are from my stash. "Your on your way" sentiment is from Fiskars School Days clear stamp set. Stamped with StazOn ink. I colored Ava and Sean with my Spectrum Noir markers. I added some Stickles from Ranger to Ava's hair ribbon, buttons, the leaf on the apple and Seans flowers. I covered the apple with Glossy Accents from Ranger to add shine. I wrote ABC and 123 with a white Gelly Roll pen. I cut Sean and Ava out, I put Ava on the card with double sided adhesive. I put Sean on the card with foam dots to give a little demention and make it look like he is standing in front of the chalk board. I had a lot of fun making this card. Thank you for stopping by.

Crafters Companion August Challenge

A new challenge this month at Crafters Companion Challenge Blog. The theme this month is "Friendship".

The purple and green cardstock is from my stash. I cut the green scalloped oval with a Sizzix die. The purple square and the green oval were embossed with Cuttlebugs swiss dots. I made the purple and yellow flowers using Spellbinders Carnation Creation. I applied some Stickles by Ranger to the flowers to Glam them up a bit. The ribbon is from American Crafts. The cute little duck is from Crafters Companion, Popcorn the Bear stamp set "Bunches of Love". And I do love Crafters Companion stamps! They have the best variety. I colored my little duck with my Spectrum Noir Markers. These markers are Awesome! I applied some Glossy Accents by Ranger to his bill and feet and some Stickles to the heart. I then mounted him to the card with foam circles. The sentiment came from scrapbook paper in my stash. I really enjoyed making this card and I look forward to the next Crafters Companion challenge.
