The January Challenge at Crafters Companion is anything but a card. So I got out my Ultimate Crafters Companion Tool and made this exploding purse.

Speaking of love, I love this Digi I found by Krista Smith @ Saturated Canary. Isn't she adorable.

I colored her with Spectrum Noir Markers. I put a little Glossy Accents by Ranger on he eyes to make them sparkle. The paper is from DCWV. The foil paper is from Recollections. I used a Spellbinder Dies, Beaded Ovals and Fancy Tags. I also used Spellbinders Impressabilities, Circles with the foil paper. The gems are PaperStudio. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby. The sentiment is computer generated.

Time To Laugh

Wow, the week is half over. Time flies when your having fun! I have been having a blast this week making cards for Bugaboos Birthday Bash Week. Today's challenge is "Make us laugh". So, who is funnier than Stella.

 

I looked through my Stella images and I saw this one and envisioned Stella carrying a birthday cake instead of a turkey, in case you don't know, this is Stella, Thanksgiving digi. So I just removed the turkey from her platter and replaced it with a birthday cake. But, oops, she was so shocked about the age of the cards recipient that she is dropping the cake!

I got this stamp with one of my card magazine, it's called Christmas Capers by Adam Prescott. I think it is adorable. I colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers. I added some stickles by Ranger for the snow. The paper and sentiment are from a Bitty Scrap Pad. The buttons are from my stash. I made the snow flakes with a Sizzix Stamp and Die cut set. What's One More Candle?

Butterfly Box

I wanted to make something that I have never tried before so I got my Ultimate Tool out and made a gift box. I made the box from Recollections Chipboard. I covered that with a butterfly print paper from PaperStudio. I cut out the top and put in a piece of clear transparency film. The butterflies were made with a Sizzix Stamp and Die Cut set. I colored the butterflies with Spectrum Noir Markers. I added a little sparkle with some Stickles and Glossy Accents by Ranger. The butterfly ribbon is from PaperStudio. Let It Snow

This is a simple Christmas Card I made. I embossed the card stock with a Cuttlebug embossing folder, then applied some Stickles by Ranger to the snowflakes.The snowsman is from a Sizzix Stamp and Diecut set colored with Spectrum Noir markers. Then I added a little stickles and some Glossy Accents, both from Ranger. The sentiment was just some rub-on words. I mounted the snowman with foam dots by Recollections.

Sweet Mermaid Kiddo

This is a Birthday card that I just made for my Granddaughter. I think she is really going to like it. I just have to keep it hidden for a few months. But when I found this stamp I knew it would be perfect for her card.

Happy Holidays

Wow, seems like forever since I have been here. Spent 5 weeks in Florida with my parents. Mom was very sick, in the hospital for a month and the rehab center for 2 weeks. So glad I was able to be with them. The good news is she is home and recovering nicely. We got home the second week of December, so I did my Christmas shopping in 2 days and then spent day and night in my craft room making Christmas cards. Then on New Years Eve we took my mother in law to the hospital. Her blood count was low, they found a bleeding ulcer in her stomach, she started feeling better, about to be released to the rehab center when she got a virus. So it could be a couple more days in the hospital. But I am determined to get back to my card making and my blog! So here goes!
