Sisters

This is a Birthday card I made for my sister. There is no better friend than a sister, and I am lucky enough to have three sisters. The image I used is from Bugaboo Stamps, it is called Bugaboo Brats, Best Friends. I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers. I cut it out with a Spellbinder Die. The paper and ribbon are from PaperStudio. The cardstock glittered stickers are also from PaperStudio.

All I Want For Christmas...

 I'm trying to work on Christmas cards now so I decided to use, who else, Stella and her naughty boy list. This adorable image is a Bugaboo Digi image. They have the best images, use this link and go over and take a look. You won't be able to resist. I colored this image with Spectrum Noir Markers. I added some Stickles from Ranger to Stella's hat and earrings, and Glossy Accents to her glasses and shoes. I used a Spellbinder Die to cut out the image. I typed out the sentiment on my computer and printed it out and cut it with a Spellbinder Die. The paper I used is from DCWV Christmas Stack. The brads were in my stash from last year.

Yellow Daffodil


The stamp I used is called Botanical Daffodil by Stampendous. I stamped it twice using Black Pigment ink and embossed with clear embossing powder by Stampendous. I colored my image with Spectrum Noir Markers from Crafters Companion.
 
I then cut one daffodil out with a Spellbinder Die and the other one I fully cut out and layered them with foam dots. I layered this on yellow cardstock that was also cut with a Spellbinder Die. I glue on some green and gold gem stones. The ribbon is from Recollections and the pearls are from PaperStudios. I would like to enter this card in the following challenges, Stampendous-October Challenge- Fabulous Florals. And Spectrum Noir October Challenge - Flowers.

Hummingbird

I absolutely love this image! It is from Bugaboo Stamps and it's called Hummingbird. I colored it with Spectrum Noir Markers, my absolute favorite markers! I embossed the background papers with Cuttlebug, Polka Dots, embossing folder. The scrapbook paper I used is from PaperStudio The gems are also PaperStudio. Flowers

 
I stamped the background of this card with a beautiful clear stamp by Fiskars called Asian Inspired. I used brown pigment ink by Stampabilities and sparkle embossing powder. Then I colored the flowers with Spectrum Noir Markers. The adorable little bear is Popcorn the Bear from Crafters Companion. I stamped him twice and colored him with Spectrum Noir markers also. I then cut out the flowers and tea cup and layered them on the first image. I added Glossy Accents to the cup and the flower vase, and a little yellow Stickles by Ranger to the center of each flower. The cardstock behind Popcorn and the sentiment were cut with Spellbinder Dies. The butterflies were cut with a Sizzix Die, colored with Sectrum Noir Markers and I added different colored glitter glue to give them some sparkle. The flower petals are PaperStudio and I had the brad in my stash. I would like to enter this card in the October Bugaboo Bingo Challenge. Brad, Sentiment and Flock or flower soft. Lets Play Bingo!

It's time for October Bingo at Bugaboo Stamps challenge blog - Catch the bug.
 
I chose twine, sentiment and black and orange for my card. The image I used is Halloween Windows-Cat from Bugaboo Stamps. I colored it with Spectrum Noir markers, then added purple Stickles by Ranger behind the cat. I used orange and black card stock from my stash. I tied black and white twine around the top of the card. Then I used a white Galaxy Marker by American Crafts, to write BOO! around the background.

A Little Action

This weeks over at Totally Stampalicious is a color challenge. For this challenge you need to use the colors Green, purple and Black. I decided Stella and her prunes would be perfect for this one! So I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers and cut her out. I added some Glossy Accents by Ranger to her glasses, the spoon and her cup of tea. I typed out the sentiment and printed it with my printer and cut it out with a Sizzix Die. The paper is from Recollections, the gems are PaperStudio and the ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.

Thinking of You

Can you tell I like purple? I really love this stamp, Jumbo Dahlia by Stampendous. I decided this one  needed to be purple. I stamped it twice and colored both with Spectrum Noir Markers and then sprayed them with Spray and Sparkle from Crafters Companion. I cut some of the petals on one of the flowers so I could lift them then layered the two flowers. I embossed the darker purple background paper with Cuttlebug, Polka Dot. The lighter purple background and the tag were both cut using Spellbinder Dies. The sentiment was from Fiskars Floral Flair stamp set. The ribbon is from my stash. I would like to enter this card in the Spectrum Noir October Challenge, Flowers. And I would also like to enter it in the Stampendous - Fabulous Florals - October Challenge. Just a note

I made this card for this weeks challenge at DYSU (Do You Stack UP). This weeks challenge is "Something Vintage".

Hey, No Turkeys Here!

This a digi image from Bugaboo Stamp. Isn't it adorable! I colored him with Spectrum Noir Markers. He needed big eyes to watch out so I gave him some from Jolee's Boutique. The paper, brads and ribbon are from PaperStudio. I used a embossing folder from Sizzix and a Spellbinder die to cut out the tag. I printed the sentiment out on my computer.

Fabulous Florals

The October challenge at Stampendous is all about flowers. I am using a Stampendous beauty, the Jumbo Dahlia. I stamped the flower with VersaMark and embossed with garnet Pearluster Embossing Powder by Stampendous. Then I colored the Dahlia with Spectrum Noir Markers. The leaves were made with a Sizzix Die called Branches and Leaves. The butterflies were made with Sizzix stamps and Dies. I embossed the card with Cuttlebug - Swiss Dots. The ribbon was in my stash.

Santa Bear

This adorable little Santa Bear is a Crafters Companion stamp. I embossed all the white areas with white embossing powder, then I colored the rest with Spectrum Noir markers, which I also purchased from Crafters Companion. Then I decided it needed a little more pizazz so I added some Stickles by Ranger to the white areas. The paper was from a Christmas stack by DCWV. Season's Greeting is a rub on by Forever in Time. The ribbon was Make It Christmas and the presents embellishment was from PaperStudio.

#1 Mom

I found this free digi from NanaVic and I just had to make a card with it. I decided it would make a lovely Mother's Day card. I layered card stock and a really pretty paper from Heidi Grace. The ribbon I had in my stash. I colored my image with Spectrum Noir markers. In my opinion they are the best alcohol markers ever. I purchased mine directly from Crafters Companion.  My sentiment came from Fiskars Holiday Hooplah rubber stamp set. I used Rich Cocoa Memento ink. I attached my image with Recollections Foam circles.

October Anything Goes!

It's anything goes over at Bugaboo Stamps Challenge Blog.  It will be Halloween before you know it so I decided to make a Halloween card. I used the Make it Snappy- witch image from Bugaboo Stamps. Fall Colors 2

I'm back with card number two for Crafters Companion October Challenge. The only rules is to use a Crafters Companion product and fall colors. For this card I've chosen.......drum roll......Humphrey! I told you I had a soft spot for him. I colored him with Spectrum Noir Markers. The paper came from my stash, the roses and pearls are PaperStudio, the ribbon is from American Crafts. I cut out my image and the background paper with a Spellbinder Die.

Fall Colors

Brrrrrr!  Only 44 degrees outside right now, Fall is definitely here. And so is the Crafters Companion October Challenge. The challenge is to use a Crafters Companion product and fall colors. I had a hard time deciding on a stamp to use so I made two. This first card is Humphrey. I have a soft spot for him. I colored my image with the best markers on the market, Spectrum Noir. The paper, ribbon, gems and brad are all PaperStudio. I made the leaves with my EK paper punch. I cut out my image and background paper with a Spellbinder Die.

Happy Thanksgiving

Today ends my reign as Biggest fan, I want to thank Bugaboo Blog for all the fun I had this month making cards for all the challenges. This last card is for the Holiday/Seasonal Challenge - (Harvest/Fall). I am using Stella - Turkey, from Bugaboo Digital Stamps. Spectrum Noir Holiday Cards/Projects Challenge

This is Spectrum Noir' first challenge ever. The theme is holiday (any holiday). You must use Spectrum Noir markers to color with. You can use any stamp or image you like. The image I chose is Dearie Dolls, Pumpkin Candy Eater. The cardstock is Recollections. The paper is PaperStudio.

Hoppy Birthday

This weeks challenge at Tammy's Scrapin Corner is Design a Kids Card, and since my grandson's birthday is this month, I made him a birthday card. I decided to make an easel card. I used the image Boy With Frogs from Dearie Dolls.
I also used Toadily - clear stamps by Penny Black. I colored my images with Spectrum Noir markers. I typed my sentiments on my computer and printed them out and cut them out with Spellbinder dies. I also used Spellbinder dies for my image.The plaid paper and little blue flowers are from Paper Studio. I made little springs out of jewelry wire and hot glued them under the lower frogs. I wanted them to be raised and movable - springy. Lastly, I glued blue gems across the lower card as stops for the easel. I am hoping my grandson likes his card and I hope you do too. Autumn Leaves

This week at Totally Stampalicious the challenge is Fall Colors. I decided to use the Bugaboo Brats image - Autumn Leaves.
I made an easel card. The paper is Recollections - Fall Leaves and several colors of card stock. I cut my image and a background piece of card stock with Spellbinders dies, I did the same with my sentiment. I had some really cute fall leaves embellishments so I added a few of them. It's Color Challenge Saturday

It's color challenge Saturday at Bugaboo Stamps Challenge Blog.
This is the color palette for this challenge.
I went to my go to gal - Stella! Friends Don't let Friends Wine Alone.
I colored my image with Spectrum Noir Markers I added some Stickles and Glossy Accents by Ranger. I used a Spellbinder Die to cut out my image. All the paper is from my stash. I made the flowers with another Spellbinder Die. I printed the sentiment with my computer and printer and cut it out with a Spellbinder Die. Behind the sentiment I added a little flocked border by Forever in Time. I thought Stella still needed some bling so I put green and purple gems around the image. Thanks for stopping by. Happy 1st Birthday

The challenge over at Totally Stampalicious is a Girlie Birthday Challenge. I made this 1st Birthday card using the Totally Stampalicious digi stamp Storybook Elizabeth. I printed the image twice. I colored them with Spectrum Noir Markers. I used a Spellbinder die to cut out my image. I cut out the bunny, book and binky from the other image and layered it on the first image with foam dots. I used a paper doily from American Greetings behind my image. I attached the image with brads from Paper Studio. I made the flower using Spellbinder Dies. I added some gems in the top and bottom corners and a bow with ribbon from my stash.

Bugaboo Bingo!

Well our summer is coming to an end, just about time to start thinking about Christmas. I'm leaving today for another camping trip while the weather is still nice. So I will post this a day early. This weeks challenge at Bugaboo Challenge Blog - Catch the Bug is Bingo. I chose the center line, glitter, stitching and Bugaboo image.
I used a Brat Girl - Christmas from Bugaboo. I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers. I added some Stickles from Ranger to her hat, dress bow and ornament. I put a little Glossy Accents by Ranger on her shoes to make them shiny. I used Spellbinder Dies to cut my paper. The background paper is by PaperStudio. The ribbon for the bow was in my stash. Happy 80th Birthday to my MOM!

This month my mom is celebrating her 80th birthday. This is the Birthday card I made for her. I used Popcorn the bear "Bunches of love" from Crafters Companion. I colored my image with my Spectrum Noir markers also from Crafters Companion. I added some Stickles from Ranger to the small flower border and the inside of each flower. I applied Glossy Accents by Ranger to the leaves on the flowers. The striped paper I used is by Recollections.The flowers are from Paper Studio. Happy 80th Birthday is from Lifes Little Occasions and MOM is Soft Spoken.
The September challenge at Crafters Companion is Stripes and/or Dots. I am entering this card in honor of my Mother whom I love dearly! Happy Birthday MOM!

Stella Says Sketch

Today at  Bugaboo Stamps Challenge Blog Stella has a new sketch. I love Stella, so I decided to use Stella Tidbits - Heaven. I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers. I added some Stickles by Ranger to the cloud and Glossy Accents by Ranger to Stella's glasses, shoes and coffee cup. I cut out the image with a Spellbinder die. I put a dot of Pink Liquid Pearls by Ranger on each corner. The cloud background paper is by My Minds Eye. The decorative strip in the center was cut with a Sizzix die and attached with brads by Making Memories. The sentiment was cut out with a Spellbinder die. I added some colored jewels to the top and bottom corners and the sentiment and a pretty pink bow in the upper corner. The ribbon was from Ribbon Trends.


Stampendous September Challenge

This months challenge at Stampendous Blog is Embossing Techniques. I used Stampendous Autumn Words for the background. I embossed with a copper colored embossing powder. I embossed Happy Halloween from Recollections and the bats from Studio112 with black embossing powder. I then used Stampendous Steampunk Owl and I embossed it with the copper embossing powder also. Then I colored it with watercolor pencils. I cut Mr Owl out with a Spellbinder die. I went around the edge with Perfect Pearls by Ranger in a copper color. I attached Steampunk Owl to the card with foam dots to give it a little dimension. Then I added a black ribbon from my stash. I had a lot of fun making this card, I hope you like it. Movie Time

Today is the start of a new challenge at Bugaboo Stamps Challenge Blog. The theme is Movies. I chose Abby Umbrella for "Singing in the Rain". I colored Abby with my Spectrum Noir markers. I printed the sentiment on my computer and printed it out. I cut out my shapes with Spellbinder dies. The rain was made with Liquid Pearls by Ranger and Glossy Accents  by Ranger. I added  just a smidge of Stickles by Ranger to Abby's dress. The ribbon is Craftsmart. I found all my papers in my stash.

Back to the real world, vacation is over. We had a great week, now it's time to unload and clean the travel trailer and do all the laundry. But it is well worth it! We had great weather until this morning when we woke up to the sound of thunder at 6:30am. We scurried around and broke camp before the downfall. Sad to see summer coming to an end.

Your Favorite Color Combo Challenge!

Totally Stampalicious has a new challenge this week. The theme is "Your favorite color combo". My favorite color combo is yellow and pink...this week. I find it changes quite often.

 I embossed the yellow card stock with Sizzix Flower Rings. I used Spellbinders Lacey Circles to cut the pink cardstock. I looked through my Bugaboo Digi's and chose Stella, I love Stella! I colored her with my Spectrum Noir markers. I added Glossy Accents from Ranger to Stella's glasses and the beach ball to make them shiny. I added Stickles by Ranger to the water and the flower. I made the flower using Spellbinder Carnation Creation.

There is a new challenge at Catch the Bug Challenge Blog. It is a photo challenge using the photo below for inspiration.

This picture reminded me that my grandchildren will be returning to school soon, so I decided to make a 1st day of school card. When looking through my Bugaboo Digi Stamps I thought Ava and Sean were perfect for my card.

All the card stock and ribbon are from my stash. "Your on your way" sentiment is from Fiskars School Days clear stamp set. Stamped with StazOn ink. I colored Ava and Sean with my Spectrum Noir markers. I added some Stickles from Ranger to Ava's hair ribbon, buttons, the leaf on the apple and Seans flowers. I covered the apple with Glossy Accents from Ranger to add shine. I wrote ABC and 123 with a white Gelly Roll pen. I cut Sean and Ava out, I put Ava on the card with double sided adhesive. I put Sean on the card with foam dots to give a little demention and make it look like he is standing in front of the chalk board. I had a lot of fun making this card. Thank you for stopping by.

Crafters Companion August Challenge

A new challenge this month at Crafters Companion Challenge Blog. The theme this month is "Friendship".

                                  

The purple and green cardstock is from my stash. I cut the green scalloped oval with a Sizzix die. The purple square and the green oval were embossed with Cuttlebugs swiss dots. I made the purple and yellow flowers using Spellbinders Carnation Creation. I applied some Stickles by Ranger to the flowers to Glam them up a bit. The ribbon is from American Crafts. The cute little duck is from Crafters Companion, Popcorn the Bear stamp set "Bunches of Love". And I do love Crafters Companion stamps! They have the best variety. I colored my little duck with my Spectrum Noir Markers. These markers are Awesome! I applied some Glossy Accents by Ranger to his bill and feet and some Stickles to the heart. I then mounted him to the card with foam circles. The sentiment came from scrapbook paper in my stash. I really enjoyed making this card and I look forward to the next Crafters Companion challenge.

This is very new to me so forgive me if I mess up. I have never had a blog before much less attempted to post one. So here goes, if this works I will post a card I have made for the Crafters Companion June Challenge. "Sunshine or Yellow". I used Popcorn the Bear for my card. I colored him with my Spectrum Noir markers. I made a criss cross pocket card and decorated it with paper from Paper Studio. I added some flower embellishments and a pretty yellow and purple polka dot ribbon. I stamped the inside card with Party Time from the Popcorn the Bear party time stamp set and Hoping your birthday is as special as you from Popcorn Floral delight stamp set. I cut out Popcorn and Little Souffle the Duck and mounted them on the card with foam dots. I also blinged the top gift with some yellow jewels. I had a lot of fun making this card. Thank you Crafters Companion for getting me out of my comfort zone and inspiring me to do something I would never have imagined myself doing. Im blogging for heaven sake!!
